AL Jazira Poultry Farm L.L.C. was established in the year 1999 & is Dubai's first egg producing poultry Farm . Inspired by Dubai - The City of Gold as it is commonly known, the eggs produced at AL Jazira Poultry were branded as "Golden eggs", & for the eggs that have a bright golden yolk, “Golden Eggs" seemed to be the most appropriate name. Fine quality of eggs with everyday supply of the freshest eggs to the consumers has made “Golden Eggs” the number one brand of eggs in the whole country.

Environmental Management System
The whole world is concerned about global warming and eco-imbalances. Bio-diversity and aforestation are now the household terminologies. The organization’s vested interest and concern towards the environment were the principal factors for it to pursue compliance with ISO 14001: 2004 standard, the internationally accredited management systems certification for environment.

As one of the many measures taken towards our responsibility towards our environment we choose our packaging materials that are environmental friendly and 100% recyclable. Mitigation plans and their implementation are in place for the identified processes that are interacting with the environment. The organization has developed green belt as a part of its commitment to ensure green environment.  Our Waste Management practices through War on Waste Strategy help us to create a pollution free environment.

Customer Relationship Management
A competent and dedicated team of professionals interact with customers & consumers on regular basis to understand their expectations and requirements.  All out efforts are made to meet these expectations and requirements.

Periodically the team updates them on latest developments, educating them about our products and industry in general.  Their grievances, if any, are listened to with real concern and sorted out.

Years of interaction & feedback from the consumers both for the quality and variety of products, studying trends in the international markets were the driving force for us to  develop  DHA Omega 3 enriched eggs, & Lutein enriched eggs.

The organization is taking all out efforts, as a part of its social responsibility, to exceed the expectations of our customers both expressed and implicit.   The organization has included the covetable ISO Standard - ISO10002:2004, which is exclusively for complaints handling in organizations, in its Integrated Business Management System (IBMS) towards its commitment to the customers

Bio-Security
Stringent Bio-Security measures are followed at every stage starting from the entrance to the premises up -to the areas for disposal of wastes.

While there is a strict restriction on entering the premises, the permitted visitors are required to have their vehicles disinfected right at the entrance and then visit only the office block. No visitors are allowed to enter the farm house area.

If a situation arises that any work has to be carried out inside the premises, then necessary measures are taken which include the provision of appropriate personal protective equipments and an escort, before the concerned personnel enter the farms area.

Competent and qualified veterinarians have been deployed in the farm for the effective livestock management and adequate care is taken at all the stages to ensure high level of Bio-Security.

Food Safety Management System
Food Safety aspect is of the utmost concern for any food producer.  Production systems, procedure, and technology used have to be chosen and designed so as to minimise any potential risks to the minimum level.

With help from our robust infrastructure facilities and competent personnel, we have adopted HACCP Codex Alimentarius principles and  Food Safety Management System requirements as part of our regular implementation.

The organization has identified the processes where critical controls are to be well monitored and has developed a matured system for Food Safety Management.  The organization is certified for the prestigious ISO22000: 2005 Food Safety Management System Certification and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) implementation.

In the year 2009 our organisation was adjudged as the best customer by the Public Health Services Department of Dubai Municipality. The organization has adopted good veterinary practices, good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices which are vital for an effective food safety management system.
